  9. I have a new Zyxel U-1496-E.  The manual says that the default
  10. block size is 256 characters, but I can't find the instruction on
  11. how to make it smaller.  My phone line is quite bad, and a smaller
  12. block size will make retransmissions faster after an error, which
  13. should increase throughput.
